  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 habanero peppers, stems and seeds removed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop two ripe mangoes into small chunks.
  2. Place the mango chunks in a blender or food processor.
  3. Carefully remove the stems and seeds from two habanero peppers and chop them finely.
  4. Add the chopped habaneros to the blender with the mango.
  5. Add three minced garlic cloves, one-third cup of honey, two tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice, one tablespoon of olive oil, and two tablespoons of soy sauce into the blender.
  6. Blend until everything is well combined and smooth.
  7. Pour the blended mixture into a saucepan over medium heat.
  8. Stir occasionally as it heats up and let it simmer gently for about 10 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  9. Once thickened to your liking, remove from heat and let it cool completely before transferring it to an airtight container.
