Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white chocolate or white candy melts
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or shortening
  • Holiday sprinkles for decorating

Instructions

  1. Unwrap all the Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Crumble the cakes using clean hands or a fork until no large chunks remain.
  3. Add softened cream cheese and mix until a smooth, dough-like texture forms.
  4. Scoop the mixture using a small cookie scoop or tablespoon and roll into even balls.
  5. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Melt white chocolate with coconut oil in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
  7. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate, let the excess drip off, and return to the tray.
  8. Immediately top with holiday sprinkles or drizzle with extra chocolate.
  9. Chill for 15 minutes or until the chocolate coating is firm.
  10. Serve chilled or store in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy.

Notes

Use chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes for a richer variation.

Crushed candy canes make a festive garnish.

Chill the mixture longer if it feels too soft to roll.
