These Oreo Truffle-Stuffed Strawberries combine the freshness of ripe strawberries with a creamy cookies-and-cream truffle filling. They are quick to prepare, easy to customize, and perfect for parties, special occasions, or a simple treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh large strawberries
  • 20 Oreo cookies (classic or flavored)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup melted chocolate (optional, for drizzling)
  • 2 tbsp crushed Oreos (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries under cool water and pat them completely dry with a clean towel. Make sure no moisture remains, as it will affect the filling.
  2. Remove the green tops of the strawberries. Using a small paring knife or a strawberry huller, carefully carve out the center of each strawberry to create a hollow space. Set aside.
  3. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. If you do not have a food processor, place the cookies in a sealed bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese. Stir until the mixture is smooth and forms a thick truffle-like consistency. The filling should hold its shape but remain creamy.
  5. Transfer the Oreo truffle mixture to a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag with the corner cut off. Pipe the filling into each hollowed strawberry until full, leaving a small mound on top. If needed, use a spoon to help press the filling in firmly.
  6. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler. Stir until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the filled strawberries for an elegant touch.
  7. While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle a small amount of crushed Oreos on top for garnish.
  8. Arrange the stuffed strawberries on a tray lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate them for at least 20 minutes before serving, allowing the filling to firm up.
  9. Serve chilled and enjoy immediately for the best taste and presentation.

Notes

Use large, firm strawberries to ensure enough room for the filling.

Flavored Oreos can be used to create variations in taste.

White, dark, or milk chocolate can all be used for the drizzle.

These are best served the same day they are prepared for optimal freshness.
