These healthy no-bake cosmic brownies are a fun and indulgent treat that requires no baking. Soft, chewy, and packed with chocolate flavor, they are perfect for kids, adults, and anyone who wants a guilt-free dessert. With simple ingredients, customizable toppings, and optional savory additions like turkey bacon or chicken ham, they are both versatile and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter of choice (almond, peanut, or cashew)
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 23 tablespoons milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/4 cup turkey bacon or chicken ham (optional)
  • Colorful sprinkles or toppings of choice

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup rolled oats, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt until uniform.
  3. Warm 1/2 cup nut butter and 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  4. Add the warmed mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly with 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 2–3 tablespoons milk until a sticky dough forms.
  5. Fold in turkey bacon or chicken ham if using.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press firmly with a spatula or your hands for even thickness.
  7. Sprinkle toppings evenly and gently press them into the surface.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm. Cover with plastic wrap while chilling.
  9. Lift brownies from the pan using parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles with a sharp knife, cleaning the blade between cuts.

Notes

For a vegan version, replace honey with maple syrup and use plant-based milk.

Thicker brownies can be made by using a smaller pan; adjust chilling time accordingly.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
