  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Measure 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal and place them in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, ½ cup of creamy peanut butter, and ¼ cup of butter.
  3. Melt the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and well combined.
  4. Remove from the heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the Rice Krispies cereal.
  6. Gently fold the mixture with a spatula until every piece is coated evenly.
  7. Allow the coated cereal to cool slightly for 3–4 minutes.
  8. Transfer the mixture into a large resealable plastic bag or container.
  9. Add 1½ cups of powdered sugar to the bag, seal tightly, and shake until all cereal pieces are evenly coated.
  10. Spread the coated mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let it cool completely for about 15 minutes.
  11. Once cooled, break apart any large clumps and store in an airtight container.

Notes

You can add mini chocolate candies, pretzel pieces, or chopped nuts for extra texture.

For a festive touch, sprinkle colored candies or drizzle with white chocolate.

Always ensure the mixture is slightly cooled before adding powdered sugar to prevent clumping.

Keep stored snacks in a dry, airtight container to maintain their crispness.
