Ingredients

  • 34 firm apples (Gala, Honeycrisp, or Fuji)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or oil
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples thoroughly. Peel if desired.
  2. Slice apples into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick slices.
  3. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Lightly brush apple slices with melted butter or oil.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the slices.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Arrange apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  8. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Apples should be golden brown and slightly crispy.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
