These Strawberry Oat Smoothie Sticks for dogs are refreshing, healthy, and easy to prepare. Made with simple ingredients like strawberries, oats, and yogurt, they are perfect for hot days or as a special treat. They freeze into fun, stick-shaped snacks that dogs love, while also providing natural fiber, vitamins, and probiotics.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (washed and hulled)
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup plain unsweetened yogurt (dog-safe)
  • ½ cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash the fresh strawberries under cool running water and remove the green tops. Slice them in half or quarters for easier blending.
  2. Measure the rolled oats and set them aside.
  3. Add the strawberries, oats, yogurt, and water into a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust the water if needed to achieve a pourable texture.
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into silicone molds, popsicle molds, or ice cube trays.
  6. Place the filled molds into the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours, or until completely solid.
  7. Once frozen, remove the smoothie sticks from the molds. Serve one to your dog as a treat and store the rest in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

Always use plain, unsweetened yogurt without artificial sweeteners, especially avoid xylitol, as it is toxic to dogs.

If your dog is sensitive to dairy, replace the yogurt with unsweetened coconut milk or plain kefir.

To add variety, you may mix in other dog-safe fruits such as bananas or blueberries.

Use molds or trays that make serving sizes appropriate for your dog’s size.
