  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced into thin cutlets
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts into thin cutlets and pat dry.
  2. Season both sides with garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook chicken cutlets 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  6. In a medium bowl, combine cottage cheese, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan. Mix until smooth.
  7. Pour tomato sauce into the skillet and simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the cheese mixture evenly over each cutlet.
  9. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook 3–4 minutes until cheese melts.
  10. Serve over rice, quinoa, or pasta, or enjoy on its own with vegetables.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, serve without grains and add more vegetables.

You can adjust the cheese quantity or seasoning to taste.
