Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pack of instant ramen noodles (seasoning packet optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk (whole milk or any preferred alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: turkey bacon bits, grilled chicken ham slices, chili flakes, chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Boil 2 cups of water in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ramen noodles and cook for 2–3 minutes until just tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Drain most of the water, leaving about 2 tablespoons in the pot with the noodles.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Stir until melted.
  5. Sprinkle in garlic powder and black pepper. Stir to coat the noodles.
  6. Pour in the milk and stir gently to warm it through.
  7. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir continuously until fully melted and creamy.
  8. Adjust seasoning to taste. Add more milk if too thick, or simmer briefly if too thin.
  9. Serve immediately with optional toppings like turkey bacon bits, chicken ham slices, chili flakes, or parsley.

Notes

Use freshly grated cheese for better melting results.

For a vegetarian version, omit turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Add steamed vegetables or a poached egg for a heartier bowl.

Keep heat low when adding cheese to avoid separation.

Stir constantly to ensure smooth, creamy sauce.
