Topping:

  • ½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Optional: Chopped nuts or sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter, stir in sugar, then add eggs one at a time, and vanilla.
  3. Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; fold into butter mixture.
  4. Pour batter into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes; cool completely.
  5. Beat cream cheese until smooth, add sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  6. Pour cheesecake batter over cooled brownie layer; smooth surface.

  8. Cool gradually, then refrigerate 4+ hours or overnight.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese to avoid lumps.

Gradual cooling prevents cracks in the cheesecake.

Customize by adding chocolate chips, swirls, or toppings.
